Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records connected with the impugned order passed by the respondent in his letter No.22012/Pani/Niru/A1/2011 dated 02.08.2011 rejecting the claim of the petitioner and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to extend the benefit of award of the Labour Court in I.D.No.147 of 1993 in respect of the category of Drillers to the petitioners herein.

O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the order of rejection dated 02.08.2011, passed by the respondent with reference to the claim of the writ petitioners to extend the benefit of award of the Labour Court in I.D.No.147 of 1993 in respect of category of Drillers.
2. The learned counsel made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Madurai Bench of this Court passed an order in W.P.M.D.No.6033 of 2012 on 29.11.2016. The said order was challenged in W.A.(MD).No.174 of 2018 and the Hon'ble Division Bench passed the judgment on 05.02.2018 and the review application was also decided by the Division Bench on 19.08.2019. Accordingly, the respondent implemented the orders of this Court on 22.10.2018, with reference to the order passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.147 of 1993 dated 07.11.1996. The order of implementation passed by the Managing Director in letter No.4800/WCE/A1/2018 dated 22.10.2018.
3. This being the factum, the respondents are directed to extend the benefit by letter dated 22.10.2018 to the writ petitioners also, considering their eligibility or otherwise, with reference to the orders of the Division Bench as well as
the implementation order dated 22.10.2018 and the said exercise is directed to be done within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
