Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land and building comprised in S.No.11/1A2, 11/4, 11/5, 11/6 and 11/8 respectively situated at Tharachi Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District an extent of 0.10.80 Ares and 0.02.80 Ares and to implant boundary stones.

The petitioners seek for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey the land and building comprised in S.No.11/1A2, 11/4, 11/5, 11/6 and 11/8 respectively situated at Tharachi Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District an extent of 0.10.80 Ares and 0.02.80 Ares and to implant boundary stones. The petitioners have also sent a representation dated 31.12.2018 to the respondents in that regard. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the 3rd respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 31.12.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the 3rd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
