Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent considering the petitioner representation dated 13.03.2017 seeking Electricity connection in her name for the resident at No.34/12A, Nandhi odai, West Mada Veethi, Thiruvotriyur, Chennai 600 019.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus by directing the first respondent considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2017 seeking electricity connection in her name for the residence at No.34/12A, Nandhi odai, West Mada Veethi, Thiruvotriyur, Chennai 600 019. 2.This appears to be an extension of inter se dispute between the daughter-in-law on the one hand and the mother-in-law on the other hand. This Court is not willing to go into the said issue. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the family is suffering without service connection which has been disconnected by the third respondent, which factum has been disputed by the third respondent.

4.On the query putforth by this Court, the learned counsel for the third respondent would submit that if it is found that there is a disconnection, the same can be restored by the second respondent. 5.Considering the above and taking into consideration of the fact

that the petitioner is having three children, this Court directs the second respondent to make an inspection of the premises in question and verify as to whether a disconnection has been made or not. If there is such disconnection, the same will have to be restored by the second respondent for which the costs will be borne by the petitioner. The needful will have to be done within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is also conscious of the fact that the second respondent has no official role in such matters since the allegation is with respect to the disconnection within the premises.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
