The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order No.010786/HR4/SETC TN/2008/2602 dated 23.09.2014 issued by the first respondent herein and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that since the petitioner has already attained superannuation on 31.05.2016, nothing survives in this petition.

3. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent that nothing survives in this petition, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
