ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint of one Narendra Kumar, a petition enquiry in CSR No.183 of 2015 is being conducted by the respondent police.

4. In my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, she can very well be summoned by the respondent police, and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit herself to the respondent police for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
