This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the entire records concerned in Cr.No.6 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Economic Offence Wing-II, Coimbatore and quash the same in so far as the petitioners are concerned. 2.When the matter was called on 09.03.2020, there was no representation for the petitioners and therefore, this Court directed the Registry to post this matter today, i.e. 11.03.2020 under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today also, there is no representation on the side of the petitioners.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.6 of 2014 charge sheet came to be filed in C.C.No.1 of 2016 for the offences under Section 420 and Section 5 of TNPID Act and the case is still pending before the TNPID Court, Coimbatore. In the above said case 20 witnesses have been cited. Out of 20 witnesses 15 witnesses have been examined and other witnesses have to be examined.

4.In view of the same nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
