Officer, Mettur, to take up and hear the petitioner's appeal petition dated 20.01.2022 along with the stay application filed as against the order passed by the third respondent/Tahsildar, Mettur vide Na.Ka.3882/2021/A1 dated 19.01.2022 and decide the same within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court and till such time direct the respondents 7 to 10 not to proceed with the illegal construction in the name of temple.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, to take up and hear the petitioner's appeal petition dated 20.01.2022 along with the stay application filed as against the order passed by the third respondent/Tahsildar, Mettur vide Na.Ka.3882/2021/A1 dated 19.01.2022 and decide the same within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court and till such time direct the respondents 7 to 10 not to proceed with the illegal construction in the name of temple.

Heard Mr.K.Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.N.Naganathan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 7 to 10.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to entertain the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 20.01.2022 by registered post along with the stay application filed as against the order passed by the third respondent, vide Na.Ka.3882/2021/A1 dated 19.01.2022, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 7 to 10 herein, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
