[Order of the Court was made by M.NIRMAL KUMAR.,J.,] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to produce the petitioner's son namely A.Karuppaiah @ Arun, Son of Mr.S.Azhagarsamy, aged 31 years.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on receipt of a complaint from the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.208 of 2022 on 26.06.2022 under 'Man Missing'. On investigation, it is found that the detenu A.Karuppaiah @ Arun, Son of S.Azhagarsamy, aged 31 years, a major went to work as usual to MTR LOGISTICS INDIA PVT LTD., Rajaji Salai, Chennai - 600 001 on 20.06.2022, thereafter not returned home, case registered for 'Man Missing', investigation is in progress, as and when he is traced, petitioner will be informed . There is no illegal detention.
