The Land Acquisition Officer v. Narayanasamy

The name of the respondent is printed in the cause list. These Appeals have been filed by the Land Acquisition Officer / Special Tahsildar (ADW), Villupuram, questioning an order of the Principal Sub Court, Villupuram /Land Acquisition Tribunal in C.M.A.No. 21 of 1999 which Civil Miscellaneous Appeal was filed questioning an order of the Special Tahsildar (ADW), Villupuram in Award No. 2 / 1999-2000 dated 03.06.1999.

2. At the time when the Second Appeals were numbered, there appears to have been convention to take on record orders from the Tribunal as Second Appeals, but subsequently, the Registry have been numbering these Appeals as Civil Miscellaneous Second Appeals.

3. A memo has been filed by the Special Government Pleader (CS) stating that the Second Appeals should be converted into Civil Miscellaneous Second Appeals. The memo is recorded.

4. Registry is directed to convert the aforesaid two Second Appeals as Civil Miscellaneous Second Appeals and post the matter before the regular / appropriate Court.
