PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, against C.C.No.434 of 2015 on the file of XVI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town at Chennai and to quash the same.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to call for the records in C.C.No.434 of 2015, on the file of XVI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town at Chennai and to quash the same.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the final report was filed on 21.02.2018 and the same was taken on file in S.C.No.21 of 2019 before the III Additional District Judge, Pondicherry and it was ended in acquittal.

3. Considering the fact that the case against the petitioner is ended in an acquittal, nothing survives for adjudication in this Petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
