2.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue free house site pattas in favour of the petitioners for the
property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3.The petitioners claim that they are entitled for issuance of a free house site patta for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition pursuant to the memo dated 20.06.2025 issued by the fourth respondent. They had given a representation on 16.06.2025 to the respondents seeking for issuance of free house site pattas. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
4.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 6.
5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners' representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
7.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 16.06.2025 seeking for issuance of a free house site patta for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents including the memo dated 20.06.2025 issued by the fourth respondent, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
