Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned transfer order passed by the first respondent in Proceedings No.24499/D4/2019 dated 10.01.2020 and the consequential relieving order passed by the second respondent in No.10/2020 (C1) dated 20.01.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue his service as Record Clerk in Annamalai University. Challenge in this writ petition is to the impugned transfer order passed by the first respondent in Proceedings No.24499/D4/2019 dated 10.01.2020 and the consequential relieving order passed by the second respondent in No.10/2020 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
(C1) dated 20.01.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue his service as Record Clerk in Annamalai University.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending the writ petition, based on the request made by the petitioner, the respondents have passed transfer order, transferring the petitioner to the Government Polytechnic College, Arandangi, vide proceedings of the first respondent in No.24499/E4/2019-2 dated 04.03.2020 and by recording the same, prays that the writ petition may be closed.
3.In view of the aforesaid order passed by the first respondent, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
