O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 29.07.2024, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3.The case of the petitioner is that there was an erroneous entry made in the patta issued by the 2nd respondent which was not in consonance with the Sale Deed dated 19.10.2023 through which the petitioner is claiming title over the property. In view of the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 1st respondent on 29.07.2024 for correcting the extent mentioned in the patta. Since the same was not considered and disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 29.07.2024 on its 2/4

own merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any third party rights are involved, opportunity shall be given to the concerned party before passing the final orders.
