This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.731 of 2005.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent filed a

Status Report which is signed by the Inspector of Police, T-1, Tambaram Police Station (Crime), Tambaram and submitted that as per the records of the first respondent, the case has been closed as 'Further Action Dropped' by FAD No.42/2010 dated 25.02.2010.
