ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the Award dated 29.10.2021 passed by the Labour Court, Hosur in ID.No.67 of 2019 and quash the same. Consequently, direct the respondent Management to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service, full back wages and other attendant benefits.

2. Heard Ms.V.Porkodi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Raghavan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent submitted that the parties have amicably settled the matter between themselves on 24.09.2024 before the Mediation Centre attached to this Court and a joint memo of compromise signed by both the parties and their respective counsel is also filed.

4. It appears from the representations of the learned counsels for both sides that the respondent Management has paid Rs.5,00,000/- by way of Demand Draft bearing D.D.No.500078, drawn in ICICI Bank, Hosur Branch, Hosur dated 23.09.2024 to the petitioner towards full and final settlement and both the parties have agreed and declared that no amount is due from the Management to the petitioner.

5. Since matter has been settled in view of the above terms, this Writ Petition is disposed of as settled out of Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.10.2024 Index : Yes /No : Yes / No Speaking / Non-speaking dsa To The Labour Court, Hosur.
