ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the body of petitioner's daughter/detenue, Shalini aged about 17 years before this Court and hand over her to the petitioner's custody.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Shalini, aged about 17 years went missing on 17.08.2015, in connection with which a case in Gudalur All Women Police Station Cr.No.13 of 2015 for "girl missing" has been registered on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

20.08.2015 and investigation is in progress. During the pendency of the investigation, this Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed on the score that the police are not taking effective steps to trace the detenue.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the Inspector of Police submits that the girl has been secured and she was produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gudalur who is seized of the matter and on the directions of the learned Magistrate, the girl was sent to the Home.

Under such circumstances, nothing survives for consideration in this petition and the same is closed with a direction to the petitioner to workout her remedy before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gudalur.
