The Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Declaration, to declare the appointment of the 3rd respondent as the Head of Department, Department of Management Studies in the 2nd respondent institution as illegal as the 3rd respondent is junior to the petitioner and its is the petitioner who is eligible to be appointed as the Head of Department being senior most in the Department.

2.Mrs.N.Kavitha Rameshwar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
