The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that similarly placed individual had filed W.P.No.31425 of 2024 and the learned Single Judge of this Court had allowed the said writ petition. It is contended that contempt petition has been filed and it will be listed on 25.04.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents/Madras University stated that the issue of the writ petitioner in W.P.No.31425 of 2024 would be taken up in the Syndicate meeting. While taking up that particular issue, the Syndicate may also consider the case of this petitioner viz., K.Sivakumar, who is also similarly placed as the petitioner in W.P.No. 31425 of 2024.

3. List this matter on 16.06.2025.
