Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent by way of reply notice and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to consider the petitioner

representation and select the petitioner as Anganvadi Assistant based on the guidelines issued by the 1st respondent.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying to quash the order passed by the 3rd respondent by way of reply notice and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner representation and select the petitioner as Anganvadi Assistant based on the guidelines issued by the 1st respondent. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made application for the post of Anganwadi Assistant pursuant to the notification issued by the respondents. However, the petitioner's candidature was rejected on the ground that the petitioner is not a resident of ward No.10 and a resident of ward No.10 one, Dhanalakshmi was selected . Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process for

the post of Anganwadi Assistant, if any future vacancy arises for ward No.9. 4.

Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to participate in the selection process, if any vacancy arises in ward No.9. No costs.
