Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024 requesting to survey and to issue patta to the property owned by petitioner comprised in Survey No.41A/1, situate at No.123, Gandhi Street, Bharathi Nagar, Thalanur Village, Walajah Taluk, Ranipet District, admeasuring an extent of 2622 sq.ft. as per the revenue records.

ORDER
The above writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024, requesting to survey the property admeasuring an extent of 2622 sq.ft., in Survey No.41A/1, situate at No.123, Gandhi Street, Bharathi Nagar, Thalanur Village, Walajah Taluk, Ranipet District, and to issue patta in his name.
2. The petitioner had purchased the aforementioned property from 2/6
one Kannan vide registered sale deed dated 07.05.1998, and he is the absolute owner of the said property from the date of purchase. The petitioner had approached the authorities concerned to survey the subject property and had also paid the necessary charges. However, the respondents have not taken any steps to inspect the property and that apart, the respondents 6 and 7 herein are attempting to encroach the petitioner's property. In this regard, citing the difficulties, the petitioner had submitted a detailed representation on 18.11.2024 to the first respondent, but the same was pending consideration. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a mandamus to the third respondent to survey his property and to issue patta in his name.
3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a mandamus is issued to the third respondent to conduct survey of the petition mentioned property and to fix the boundary stones. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the third respondent 3/6
shall, after issuing notice to the private parties, the sixth and seventh respondent or the interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property and issuing patta or rejecting the request. In case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
