Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to call for the application for the post of non hereditary trustees and thereby form a trust board for A/m Ramalinga Sowdewswari Amman Temple Punjai Puliampatti and to recommend two persons to be nominated as the trustees by the 1st respondent herein based on our representation dated 27.12.2021.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the second respondent to call for the application for the post of non hereditary trustees and thereby form a trust board for Arulmigu Ramalinga Sowdewswari Amman Temple, Punjai Puliampatti and to recommend two persons to be nominated as the trustees by the 1st respondent herein based on our representation dated 27.12.2021.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the H.R.&C.E. Department made a submission that the process has already commenced and the authorities are taking all necessary steps to appoint the non-hereditary trustees by following the procedures as contemplated under the provisions of the Act and Rules.

3.In view of the said submission, the authorities shall ensure that such appointments are made as expeditiously as possible by following the procedures scrupulously. 4.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected writ miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
