ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Jayankondam, to dispose the case in C.C.No.61 of 2017.

2. The petitioner is a driver by profession and he submits that on 05.12.2016 at about 8.45 P.M., the Defacto Complainant one Sarath Kumar along with his brother Arun Pandian in his two wheeler, while crossing the place Vkaikatti, the bus bearing Registration No.TN 61 J 2950 dashed against the defacto complainant's two wheeler. Due to the incident, the brother of the defacto complainant died on the spot. Thereafter, the defacto complainant gave a complaint in this regard with the respondent police and the respondent police had registered a case in Crime No.2079 of 2016 under Section 304(A) of IPC and seized the petitioner's driving license and referred the matter to the Regional Transport Officer, Ariyalur, for further action. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner further submits that until and unless the above Criminal case is over, he cannot get back his driving license and cannot go for any employment, and therefore, he has filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking for a direction to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Jayankondam, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.61 of 2017.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Jayankondam, to complete the entire process of trial in C.C.No.61 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
