ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking direction against the 1st respondent, Joint Director of Educational (Administration) Directorate of Primary School Education, Chennai, to dispose of an appeal petition dated 02.11.2024 filed by the petitioner challenging the order in Na.Ka.No.0409/Aa2/2022 dated 05.09.2024. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had appeared in the Teacher Training Examination and was selected in the year 1986. He was thereafter, given routine promotions and was finally appointed as Headmaster in Manjaarapalli Panchayat Union School. He also completed his B.Lit., through correspondence in Anna University and also completed his B.Ed. Degree. He was last working as Headmaster in Samathal Panchayat Union Middle School.

It had been stated that there was a re-examination and verification of the certificates of the petitioner among others and owing to various circumstances, the petitioner was placed under suspension and an enquiry was also held and an order was passed on 05.09.2024 dismissing the petitioner from service.

3.A direction is given to the respondents to examine the appeal filed by the petitioner and follow due procedure as enunciated by law, but take a decision on the appeal within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
