This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash C.C.No.98 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Tambaram and quash the entire proceedings in so far as the petitioners A1 to A-3 is concerned.

2.The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the trial in C.C.No.98 of 2013 has commenced on 26.02.2019 Pw1 and Pw2 were examined.

3.It is seen that when the matter was posted on 23.03.2015 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 06.04.2015. Thereafter, for the past five years, the learned counsel has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the petitioner has no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending for more than four years without even ordering notice. Now, after the lapse of four years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
