O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to act on the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 and dispose the same.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father has purchased the property to an extent of 2300 sq.ft., comprised in Survey Nos.66/7C and 66/8B situated in Rayakottai Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District under a registered Sale Deed dated 01.05.1968, registered as Document No. 372/1968 in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Rayakottai, Krishnagiri District. Thereafter, the petitioner sold a small extent of 500 sq.ft to the third party in the year 1975, and the remaining land of 1800 sq.ft is in his possession. The petitioner's father died on 27.11.1997. Thereafter, the petitioner, the petitioner's mother and brother had released and relinquished their share under a release deed dated 10.08.2021.
Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application to the revenue authorities that the third respondent has wrongly entered the extent of land under Natham patta No.630 as 1400 sq.ft instead of the correct extent 1800 sq.ft. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation to the third respondent on 29.01.2021 to rectify the extent of land as 1800 sq.feet in accordance with the title deed viz., Sale Deed dated 01.05.1968, but, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, this Writ petition is filed with the above said prayer.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 will be considered by the Respondent within the time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 and pass orders orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the
date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
