The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, on instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's presence is required before the first respondent, for meeting out the requirements of police protection.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to appear before the first respondent, on 15.06.2017 at 10.30a.m. on which date, the enquiry, if any, shall be completed by the first respondent.
