ORDER

The petitioner, Mr.R.Sekar, has filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the payments relating to Gratuity amount calculating D.A.elgible as per newly implemented, with interest at 12% per annum with effect from 01.07.2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.P.Paramasivados, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner joined as Junior Assistant Trainee in the year 1984 in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited, Villupuram and voluntarily retired as Superintendent on 01.10.2012 while working in Region Office, Vellore of the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent Corporation. The respondents paid a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- towards Gratuity. However, Gratuity amount calculating D.A. eligible as per newly implemented Scheme has not been settled by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 22.02.2016 to the first respondent requesting to settle the same. Since no order was passed on the said representation, the petitioner has come to this Court.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation dated 22.02.2016 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
