O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.02.2019 and 10.06.2019 and consequently, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's property bearing S.No.190/2 Thirukovilur Village, Villupuram District ad-measuring about 0.21 cents and issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents, notice to them is not necessary and this Court is inclined to dispose of the matter based on the available materials.

3. The petitioner has purchased a property bearing S.F.No.190/2, Thirukovilur Village, Villupuram District, admeasuring about 0.21 cents and cultivating the said property without any hindrance. In the meanwhile on 27.04.1992, the petitioner made representation seeking to survey his property and give patta in favour of him and the Revenue Officer cum Assistant Commissioner, Villupuram, had issued patta in favour of the petitioner for 16 cents and failed to give patta for remaining 5 cents of his land. Hence,the petitioner made representation to the 2nd respondent dated 10.06.2019 seeking survey and issue patta for the remaining extent, but the respondents have not passed any order on his representation till date. Hence the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing this Writ Petition.

4.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate has no objection for said order being passed.

6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
