PONGIAPPAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.1458 of 2022 IN CRL OP.1993/2020 SARATHKUMAR [ PETITIONER ] Vs THE STATE REP.BY [ RESPONDENT ] INSPECTOR OF POLICE, RATHNAKIRI POLICE STATION, VELLORE DISTRICT.

(CRIME NO.515 OF 2019).

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for two weeks for executing the sureties as per the order of this Honble court made in Crl.OP.No.1993/2020 dated 31.01.2020 and pass such further or other orders as it may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.B.SUNDARAPANDIYAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.SANTHOSH,Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side)on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.1993 of 2020 dated 31.01.2020 for executing the sureties.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to illness, the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time. Hence, he prays to extend the time.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for executing the sureties is extended finally by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
