Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 herein to take action against the respondents 8 to 12 against the illegal encroachments of cart track running through land comprised in survey Nos. 66, 75, 74, 78, 82, 85 and 90 of Nachapuram Village Nambedu P.O.Chetpet Taluk Thiruvannamalai District and consequently to restore the cart track running through the above survey Numbers to its original position/ usage and pass.

ORDER

(made by SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J.) The writ petitioner complains about the alleged encroachment by respondents 8 to 12 on lands comprised in specific survey numbers of Nachapuram Village, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. It is asserted by the writ petitioner that in spite of issuing a representation of 11.11.2020, no action has been taken by the official respondents.

3. Without examining the merits or tenability of the representation of the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 are directed to consider the representation dated 11.11.2020 and dispose of the same by a speaking order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to all affected parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. W.P.No.4861 of 2021 is disposed of on the above terms. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.5472 of 2021 is closed.
