Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner's incentive pay as per G.O.Ms.No.1023 of 1993 (Education, Science and Technology Department), dated 09.12.1993, as per the petitioner's representation, dated 27.10.2014, which was forwarded to the District Elementary Educatioan Officer, Thiruvallur, on 29.10.2014 and reminder dated 08.11.2021.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, subsequent to the filing of the present Writ Petiton, the petitioner's abovesaid representation seeking for additional incentive, was rejected by the Block Development Officer, Villivakkam Union @ Ambattur, Chennai-600 077, on 24.02.2022, which is challenged in W.P.No.23516 of 2022, which is pending before this Court.

3. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present Writ Petition (W.P.No.3960 of 2022) has become infructuous. The 2 / 4
