ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal filed under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act 1956.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's land was acquired and award was also passed. Not being satisfied with the award, the petitioner filed an appeal before the respondent under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act on 09.10.2017. But, so far the appeal is not disposed off by the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the appeal is pending from 2017, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
