The present miscellaneous petition is filed to condone the delay of 879 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

Learned counsel for the respondents vehemently objected to condoning the delay. However, she submitted that in case, the Court intends to condone the delay, it may be on terms.

Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the above petition and taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the delay is condoned and petition is ordered on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only ) in favour of "Balagurukulam School, Tirumangalam Road, Villivakkam, Chennai https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis -49" within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
