These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking to modify the condition and to extend the time in Crl.M.P.No.16203 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.No.4976 of 2023 dated 03.12.2024.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the anticipatory bail order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.4976 of 2023, the 1/4
petitioner has deposited the original title deeds of an immovable property worth about Rs.1 crore before the court concered and it is still in the custody of the court. Further, this Court, while ordering the petition in Crl.M.P.No.16203 of 2024 on 03.12.2024, had permitted the petitioner to travel abroad and directed her to redeposit her passport on or before 20.01.2025 before the Court concerned. He further submits that due to illness, the petititoner, was unable to re-deposit her passport before the court on or before 20.01.2025, however, after her recovery, when she approached the Court concerned and attemptted to re-deposit the passport by filing a Memo on 22.01.2025, the learned Judge had returned the same stating that "the date lapsed". Thereby, the petitioner was unable to re-deposit her passport.

He also submits that though the petitioner's passport is valid till 21.11.2029, the petitioner has to approach the US Embassy seeking to get her VISA extended and also she has to make travel arrangements and this process will take six weeks. Thereby, the present petitions have been filed seeking to modify the condition and also to extend the time granted in Crl.M.P.No.16203 of 2024 dated 03.12.2024.
4. Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel 2/4
appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.16203 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.No.4976 of 2023 dated 03.12.2024.
5. Accordingly, the petitioner shall take steps to travel and further, the petitioner is directed to re-deposit her passport before the Special Court for CCB and CBCID Cases, Egmore, within a period of six weeks i.e., on or before 21.03.2025. The petitioner shall also inform her itinerary to the respondent Police before leaving India.
6. With the above modifications, these Criminal Original Petitions stand ordered.
