ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned 1st Additional District Judge, Salem, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.24/2014, within a stipulated period of time.
2. The petitioner is the plaintiff and the respondent is the defendants, the petitioner has filed in O.S.No.24 of 2014 for direction to the learned 1st Additional District Judge, Salem, to dispose the suit within a stipulated period of time.
3. The respondent filed written statement on 30.6.2014. The suit is posted for issues on 16.7.2014. Till today, the suit is pending without any progress. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition, for speedy disposal of the suit.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
5. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition and since the suit is pending from the year 2014, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the 1st Additional District Judge, Salem, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.24 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 13.09.2017.
6. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
