The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name based on the online application submitted on 05.04.2017 for the property comprised in Survey No.348/2 of Porur Village, Chennai bearing Plot No.1, measuring 4.86 cents (2120 Sq.ft.), 9th Yadava Street, Melpallikuppam Sivasakthi Nagar, Porur, Chennai - 600 116.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made online application on 05.04.2017 seeking to issue patta in his name in respect of the subject property and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.04.2017 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.04.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
