The 1st petitioner herein is A3 in Crime No.233 of 2023 registered for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 385, 323, 324, 307, 336 and 506(ii) of IPC.

2. The 2nd petitioner is not accused in the above case in Cr. No.233 of 2023. Therefore, this petition is dismissed as against the 2nd petitioner.

3. It is the case of the prosecution that the defacto complainant and his friends were walking near the Thousand Lights, when all the accused demanded money and when refused, there was a big quarrel and the accused attacked the defacto complainant on his head causing serious injury. There were two injured persons. A1 had been arrested and he is still in custody. It is stated by the learned counsel that there are no previous cases as against the 1st petitioner herein.

4. However, taking into consideration the seriousness of the injuries, though the injured person has been discharged, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the 1st petitioner. 1/3
