Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to re-fix the B.Arch counselling ranking of the petitioner, by computing her cut off marks for B.Arch counselling, taking into consideration the 5 core subjects viz., Mathematics, English Elective - C, Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics and excluding the optional / additional subject viz., Physical education.

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking issuance of a mandamus, to direct the first respondent to re-fix the B.Arch counselling rank of the petitioner, by computing her cut off marks of five core subjects alone.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner has got admission in the counselling itself and hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
