Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the proceedings in FIR Crime No.1314 of 2016 dated 02.09.2016 on the file of the 1st respondent against the petitioners and quash the same. O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this petition seeking to call for the records relating to the proceedings in FIR Crime No.1314 of 2016 dated 02.09.2016 on the file of the 1st respondent against the petitioners and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is pending against the petitioners in Cr.no.1314 of 2016 . https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that without going into the merits of the case, this Court may issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the submissions made by both sides, this Court going into the merits of the issue directs the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if the investigation, reveals a cognizable offence is made out against the petitioners, the respondent police shall file a final report before the court concerned.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
