ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram to expedite the case in D.V.O.P.No.42 of 2016 and dispose of the same at the earliest.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the petition filed by the respondent under the Domestic Violence Act, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram has taken the case on file in D.V.O.P.No.42 of 2016 against the petitioner herein and two others. He further submitted that for the past four years, no progress has been made in the aforesaid case and hence, he requested to direct the trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid case at the earliest.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram is directed to dispose of the case in D.V.O.P.No.42 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
