Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 19.11.2021 seeking to rectify the mistake crept in during UDR survey and remove the sub division of the Survey Number S.F.No.604 (Old S.F.No.268/1part) Avinashi Village, Tiruppur District and the classification of

S.F.No.599/3 as temple under the UDR scheme and classify the same as "Royapalayam North South Road" within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 19.11.2021 seeking to rectify the mistake crept in during UDR survey and remove the sub division of the survey No.604 (Old SF No.268/1part) Avinashi Village, Tiruppur District and the classification of S.F.No.599/3 as temple under the UDR scheme and classify the same as "Royapalayam North South Road" within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.11.2021, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent, by giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
