O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to enter the sub-division proceeding of the land ad-measuring an extent of 252 sq.ft., comprised in Survey No.11/2

and sub-divided new Survey No.11/32, Ward 2, Block III, Pay Gopuram Street, Thiruvannamalai Town, Thiruvannamalai District and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that she gave a representation on 27.01.2017 to the respondent to enter the sub-division proceedings of the land. However, the respondent has not considered the same yet. 3.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
