ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondents herein for restoration of electricity connection to his house.

2. Mr.Abul Kalam, learned Senior counsel takes notice to respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the electricity service connection of the petitioner's house was disconnected by the respondents herein, at the instance of his neighbours who are owning the adjacent property, due to a dispute between the petitioner and his neighbours, for which the 1st respondent herein had lodged a complaint against them. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation dated 30.01.2021 to the 1st respondent for restoration of Electricity supply to the petitioner's house. However, till date, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present petition is filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

5. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents fairly conceded that the representation dated 30.01.2021 made by the petitioner will be considered and the electricity service connection will be restored within a period of one week.

In view of the learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondents fairly conceded that the Electricity service connection will be restored within a period of one week, recording the same, this Court directs the respondents to restore the electricity service connection to the petitioner's house, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
