2. Mr.K.Harishankar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of applicant/Official Assignee and Mr.C.P.G.Yoganand, learned counsel for respondents 3 and 4 are before this Court. It is brought to the notice of this Court by both counsel that Mr.J.Balagopal, learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2 who was before this Court in the previous listing had made it clear that he is not contesting the captioned application.
3. Be that as it may, learned counsel for applicant/Official Assignee requests for a short accommodation to place before this Court a compilation of case laws which may be relevant for deciding the question of avoidance qua Section 55 of Presidency Towns Insolvency Act, 1909 [hereinafter 'Presidency Insolvency Act' for the sake of convenience and clarity].
