Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records and quash the interim report in Cr.No.113 of 2014 filed by the second respondent to the first respondent to initiate proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. proceedings and further remove the lock put by the first respondent in the building Cauvery Silk House bearing Old door No.57, New No.13, J.N. Street, Puducherry Revenue Village No.40, in Ward-c, Block-4, R.S.No.239 part.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the interim report filed by the second respondent to the first respondent in Cr.No.113 of 2014 to initiate proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C., as against the petitioner.

2. It is seen that the petitioner filed this petition to challenge the interim report filed against him to proceed under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. The said report was filed in the month of December, 2014. The period for the proceedings under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
