Though the drafted notice sent to the sole appellant has been served on him on 04.12.2021 and his name has been printed in the cause list, none appeared for him on 16.12.2021. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "For dismissal" on 17.12.2021. Though the matter has been listed under the caption "For dismissal", today also, none appeared for the appellant. Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the Writ Appeal for non-prosecution. 2.Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
