Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, Addl.Public Prosecutor Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to grant six days emergency leave to the detenu Munisamy, S/o Kuppusamy aged about 60 years Life Convict No.12569, now confined at Central Prison, Vellore.

O R D E R

(Order made by Dr.S.VIMALA, J.) This H.C.P. has been filed by the petitioner, wife of the detenu Munisamy S/o Kuppusamy aged about 60 years, seeking direction to the second respondent to grant six days emergency leave to the detenu Munisamy, S/o Kuppusamy aged about 60 years Life Convict No.12569, now confined at Central Prison, Vellore.

2. A representation dated 30.07.2017 has been submitted to the respondents. Copy of the representation and the postal receipt is also enclosed, which show that such a representation is made. In the representation, it is stated that the petitioner herein has to support three children aged 16 years, 13 years and 7 years respectively and the husband is in confinement and therefore she is left with no support. It is also stated that the relatives of the husband have also expired. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In such circumstances, it is within the domain of the respondents to pass orders. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor undertakes that the representation would be considered. Recording the said statement, the H.C.P.is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
