Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 6 and 7 to grant Electricity Service Connection to the Government Elementary School comprised in S.No.38/1, 38/2 situated at Vivekananda Nagar, Gudalore Village, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District.

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties for some time.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 6 and 7 to grant Electricity Service Connection to the Government Elementary School comprised in S.No.38/1, 38/2 situated at Vivekananda Nagar, Gudalore Village, Coimbatore, Coimbatore District

3. It appears that in the connected cases viz., W.P.Nos.4316 of 2011, etc., a learned Single Judge of this court directed to maintain status quo. Since the learned Single Judge has seized of the matter, even with regard to power supply also, the petitioner may get himself impleaded in the said writ petitions and make the same prayer before the said learned Single Judge for passing orders.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
