ORDER

Petition seeking bail in connection with Cr.No.623 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 75(2) of BNS Act and Sections 7 and 8 of POCSO Act, is on board for consideration. Page No.1 of 4

2. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He would submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this court.

3. The case of the prosecution, as put forth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of bail, is that the petitioner, in the guise of asking for a match box, pulled the minor victim girl, aged 11 years, into his house and had committed penetrative sexual assault on her. He would submit that the medical report of the victim girl shows that there are external injuries.

4. Perused the materials available on record, including the statement of the victim girl under Section 183 BNSS and the medical report of the victim. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner and the age of the minor victim girl, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
