J U D G M E N T

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been preferred as against the award of Rs. 25,000/- granted by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal ( Sub Court), Salem, in favour of the 1st respondent for the injuries sustained by him, in the accident, which occurred on 21.05.2008.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel on either side that already, a batch of appeals in C.M.A. Nos. 2034 of 2013, 3024 of 2014 & 335 to 338 of 2015, challenging the awards passed in respect of other claimants, with regard to the very same accident in question, were dismissed by this Court, by judgment dated 06.03.2015, holding that the compensation amounts awarded by the Tribunal, in respect of the claimants therein, are reasonable and following the said judgment, another connected appeal in C.M.A. No. 690 of 2015 was also dismissed by this Court on 09.04.2015.

Since the issue has already been decided by this Court, in the above appeals, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is also dismissed confirming the award passed by the Tribunal, to the tune of Rs.25,000/- together with interest @ 7.5% per annum. No costs. Connected M.P. is closed.
